Don't Worry... I'm still blogging.

I just got back from one of the most relaxing vacations of my adult life. Last weekend we went to Adam's parents for the annual President's Day sheep shearing. I stayed there for the week while Adam came home to work and go to school. Then Adam came back to help judge the regional Science Olympiad. Here are some highlights from the trip:
  • Someone else deciding what to cook
  • Escape from my daily responsibilities
  • Time to really enjoy and play with the kids
  • Dakota and Audrey's quality time with Grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles
  • No major injuries during sheep shearing
  • Visiting an old roommate and her kids
  • Adam's mom entertaining (ie listening to) Dakota on the trip down
  • Preventing the mental breakdown I was bound to have if I didn't get a break
  • Dakota loving the dogs and other animals
  • Going to Joseph's concert (my brother-in-law is an amazing percussionist)
  • Dakota getting completely spoiled by his grandma
  • Audrey learning new words
  • Playing games
  • Gorgeous weather
