I don't know how to edit.

I've thought about learning how to edit, but have decided I don't have time in my current phase of life. Plus, by not learning, I don't have to buy any editing software. Nor do I have another reason to spend more time on the computer. Because I don't take great pictures, I don't edit, and I don't hire professional photographers, I don't have great pictures. What I do have is thousands of snap shots of my kids. Low quality pictures of them playing outside, licking the beaters, unloading the dishwasher, setting the table, playing inside, throwing fits, and other tidbits of our daily lives.

Maybe someday I'll invest my time and money in photoshop, but for now I'm just trying to remember these little moments. The moments that remind me just how fun it is (and how lucky I am) to be a full-time mom.

  1. Right. Who's needs an excuse to spend even more time at the computer?

    Live now, edit later.

  2. I'm with Emily. The pictures will always be there to edit but the precious moments go away too quickly.
