Projects

This is my kind of project... less than 3 dollars, and less than 20 minutes.

*This is just a simple placemat purse. I got my placemat from IKEA for $1, a spool of ribbon from Wal-Mart for $2, and my inspiration from various websites including this one. I use this to take diapers, wipes, and sometimes a water bottle and/or extra outfit when I take Audrey to a sitter.

A "one nap time" project.

*This fabric is actually cheap sheets that I bought on sale for even cheaper ($6 for both the dot and green back fabric... I used the same sheets for the apron I made for the YW fundraiser, and still have extra). I don't have a pattern, but if you google "car seat canopy tutorial" you will have a plethora of info at your finger tips. In a nutshell I measured my car seat, made a rectangle of fabric based on my measurements, rounded the corners with the biggest plate I could find, sewed it together, put it over the car seat to decide where to put the strap, and sewed the straps on. (Megan... do you, or will you soon have a need for a car seat cover?)

Borrowed my brother-in-law's chopsaw Saturday, drew plans yesterday, bought supplies, and built this table today.
