Date Night!

Between taking care of a baby, dealing with mastitis, and potty training Audrey, Dakota didn't get much attention last week. So on Saturday I took him on a "date." I asked him where he wanted to go, and he said to buy new clothes, and somewhere to buy dessert. When I asked what he wanted for dessert he decided on cookies, and while I was trying to think of a place to buy cookies he decided we could go to target to get clothes and a dessert. So, he very quickly picked out 2 long sleeve shirts, and a little less quickly, but much more enthusiastically picked out chocolate pudding for dessert.

Although it wasn't terribly exciting, and really quick, it was fun to spend some time with Dakota. It was fun to listen to every word he said, and enjoy being with him without any distractions.

Of course, we had to stop to play on the way out of the store. (And because I didn't have any little sisters to chase or feed... we did!)
