I can't believe I have a 5-year-old. I am so glad he missed the school cut-off date, and can't believe I was that close to having a Kindergartener! (Picture taken in June)
We decided to do Dakota's cake while family was here for Bridget's blessing. He wanted a rocket-ship cake, so I found some inspiration online, and made a cake Sunday morning. Rather than spend a lot of time decorating it myself, I let Adam help me frost it quickly, and had the kids decorate it with Skittles. Dakota was happy with it, and we were happy to have people to share it with.
