KidKnex

Dakota wanted Legos for Christmas.  Because he doesn't clean-up after himself, and has 2 little sisters, he didn't get Legos.  My parents gave him a big tub of KidKnex though, and he loves them.  After following the "constructions" that came with the big tub, and making his own creations he wanted more.  He was very excited when he received $5 for Valentine's Day from Grandma, and had enough money from previous Birthdays that he could buy a set.  He picked out the Railroad Pals set because it had wheels and bendy pieces.  Although expensive, they've been worth it.  He plays with his KidKnex everyday during quiet time.  He and Audrey love to follow the instructions, and build guns.  I love that he can create without getting tiny building pieces all over the house, and Bridget loves to suck on the pieces without choking.
