Dakota gets more independent everyday, and wants what he wants when he wants it. He blows full blown tantrums when he doesn't get his way, and has recently started kicking and hitting when he is mad. One day he told me that he listens at other houses, but not at home because he doesn't really like me. Then he gave me a list of reasons that he doesn't like me (including that I say no, and don't let him have screen time). "You have to let me do whatever I want to if you want me to like you or not hate you." About a week after informing me that he hates me, he walked around the house opening his scriptures to the picture of Christ and yelling "Hi Jesus! We are not listening to you!!!" I have a feeling his teenage years are going to rough. But at least I can already ignore comments like "I hate you" and "you're a bad mom."
Bridget gets cuter everyday. We found a sports bottle that she will drink PediaSure from, and then a baby sports bottle that doesn't leak as bad. Hopefully she'll start gaining weight now, and learn to like milk in the future. She is 10 months old, and finally growing out of her 0-3 month clothes! She has mastered crawling, and destroying anything in her wake. (She's doing a better job of motivating the kids to clean up after themselves than I am). She remains extremely social, and loves to sit with different families during Sacrament meeting. She is also loud, but has the cutest giggle. She reminds me so much of Dakota.
Audrey is almost 3. Two is my favorite age, so I'm a little sad. She still has accidents, but is pretty much potty trained. (Don't let anyone tell you that girls are easier or less messy... Audrey is way harder and messier than Dakota. We look forward to the day we no longer have a carpeted bathroom and kitchen). She's very independent, but hates when things don't go smoothly. She'll cry and throw a tantrum but refuse any help. As soon as she figures something out, the tears immediately disappear and she's happy as can be, usually saying "I did it mom, I did it!" Audrey is my best cuddler, and I swear she thinks "I love you" means "hold me."

| Rain or shine, Bridget has to see where she is going, and what is going on. In public places she has to entertain anyone near her. |

Samuel makes the same comments as Dakota, or similar to. He and Joc say they want to move to a different house with different parents at least once a week. It feels great. Builds my confidence.
