Family Reunitin' Part IV

My dad's family doesn't do family reunions.  Thanksgiving has always been our thing, but there were many, many years when my uncle's family couldn't do Thanksgiving.  So we saw each other when someone got married.  Then we all got married.  And never saw each other.  (OK, that's a lie... I see Vicki's family quite frequently, but I rarely see my uncle Dennis and his family... and I only live 4 hours from them!)  Anyway, Vicki actually managed to plan a family BBQ, so we got together, and caught up.  (We missed Daija and Danny, but everyone else was there).  It was really fun, and we all agreed to get together more often.

This was our last family reunion of the summer.

Our past month looked something like this:
June 26- 30- H reunion
July 1- leave directly from H reunion to Twin Lakes
July 1-6- Twin Lakes
July 6- go to my parents for the night so we can visit my grandpa
July 7- Drive home
July 8-10- Laundry, chores, get ready for next reunion
July 11- 13- C Reunion
July 13- Come home from C reunion, and go to L Reunion BBQ
July 14- 20- Recover
July 21-25- Visit with Lisa's family before they move to Mexico

And that is why my summer feels like it flew by... the kids and I better get working on our summer bucket list!
