When it comes to birthdays, we usually give our kids a choice. They can either go somewhere fun as a family, or they can have a friend birthday party. I was shocked when Audrey chose to have a birthday party. (This was my first time planning a friend birthday party). Audrey was pleasantly surprised to discover friends bring presents to parties, and was happy with her choice.
